C06 Collection and context-sensitive distribution of process data
Summary
The DediGrad subproject C06 develops methods for the acquisition, contextualisation, and position-related use of process data along coupled manufacturing chains for lightweight structures. Time-series data are linked with process and component context, mapped to target positions on the component, and prepared for the analysis of simple cause-and-effect relationships. The subproject combines data acquisition, modelling, visualisation, and data-based evaluation within a shared information structure. Its aim is to make process-related raw data usable for design, quality, and optimisation tasks, thereby enabling data-driven feedback loops across the entire value chain.
001 Objectives

Contextualised Process Data

  • Linking process-related raw data to lightweight components
  • Context-sensitive aggregation of raw data
  • Assignment of raw and aggregated data to arbitrary positions on the component
  • Description of cause-and-effect relationships between process data and component properties
  • Provision of data visualisation and data sharing
002 Scientific Questions

Data-Driven Cause-Effect Modelling

  • Which data are generated along the process chain and need to be related to the lightweight component?
  • How can time-series data be linked to a position on the lightweight component?
  • Which simple cause-and-effect relationships can be described on the basis of position and the associated raw data?
  • How can these cause-and-effect relationships be used for optimisation within the process chain?
