Summary
The Z project bundles the central organisational, administrative, and strategic tasks of the CRC/TRR and creates the infrastructural conditions for effective collaboration across the consortium. Its responsibilities include project coordination, financial and process management, research data management, public outreach, internationalisation, knowledge transfer, and measures for early-career support and equal opportunities. The objective is to support the scientific work of the individual subprojects through reliable management structures, coordinated communication and data processes, and strong national and international networking. In this way, Z01 forms the functional backbone of the consortium and safeguards its visibility, connectivity, and operational capability.

Scientific Coordination and Transfer

  • Support for the spokesperson, managing office, and subprojects in administrative and organisational matters
  • Establishment and support of research data management
  • Coordination of public outreach and knowledge transfer
  • Promotion of international networking, visiting research, and scientific exchange
  • Support of equal-opportunities measures and early-career development
