Exchange, project work and summer school on sustainable FRP production processes

The next general assembly of TRR 402 DediGrad will take place on 14 and 15 September 2026 at TU Vienna. The meeting will bring together members of the general body as well as researchers from the participating subprojects and will provide an important framework for scientific exchange, cross-project coordination and the further strategic development of the research consortium.

The general assembly will focus on current developments within TRR 402 DediGrad, the progress of the subprojects and the joint planning of the next steps. The event will offer an opportunity to discuss research results, strengthen interfaces between the different project areas and further expand collaboration within the Collaborative Research Centre/Transregio.

Following the general assembly, the summer school “Sustainability in FRP Production Processes” will take place on 16 and 17 September 2026. It will address sustainable approaches in the production of fibre-reinforced plastics and will complement the general assembly with a thematically focused format for knowledge transfer, training and professional exchange.

By combining the general assembly with the summer school, the meeting in Vienna will create an important setting for advancing current research within TRR 402 DediGrad, involving early-career researchers and placing a stronger focus on sustainability perspectives in the production of fibre-reinforced lightweight structures.
